Lock Picking Tools – Savior of the Day!
Spending too much cash on paying the locksmith to open your garage or car doors, just because you
keep losing your keys? Well, let's look at something more sensible and affordable then:
Lock picking tools!
A
Lock Picking tool
is a long, thin piece of metal that curves up at the end; like a dentist's pick! It is used to
reach into the lock and push the lock pins up.
Don't know where to get it? Well thanks to the internet, it has never been easier. Just go online
and look through various sites selling tool sets for lock picking, and they even have guides on
using them, for starters!
It is necessary that you should know what kind of lock you are facing, to seek the correct tool!
For pin tumbler locks used in garage door locks, padlocks or vehicles, you use a Tension Wrench
and a Pick. A tension wrench is used to apply a torque to the cylinder, while the pick is used to
push individual pins up until they are flush with the shear line.
For combination codes locks, you use specific or customised bypass tools. In the case of cars and
pick ups, you use Auto jigglers tools.
For Tubular locks used in cash and jewelry boxes or safes, you use a tubular lock pick or a
tubular key lock saw to drill the lock out of the place along with tension wrenches. An
alternative way would be to use impression tools.
For High Security Locks you have to use a strong diamond pick. A diamond pick is not as expensive
as you think! You can get them online at affordable prices.
For warded locks you use Warded Pick. For lever locks, on the other hand, you would need two
wires, a Two-in-one Pick or at times, a curtain pick.
For magnetic locks you use the magnetic picks that are mostly used only by professional locksmiths
in cases of emergencies. But for these, you have to be cautious; you need precision skills, or
else you'll end up electrocuted!
